Growing up with a mother being in the army (two missions in Kosovo) and a father who often works abroad, Azahriah was used to doing things on his own. So much so, he barely had any friends in elementary school. Getting fed up with always being the lonely one, at age 12 he started his YouTube channel, called Paul Street, gaining more and more popularity with his mystery/paranormal themed stories. This was literally a life saver for him: when dropped out of high school for being bullied by one of his teachers, he really could use the positive vibes starting over everything in
a new school.

After reaching 500 000 followers, becoming one of the best known content creators in his country, Azahriah decided to move forward and fulfill his singer-songwriter dreams. As his videos had nothing to do with music, this definitely could have been a burden – but not for him. He knew exactly what he was doing. Already a qualified guitar player (perks of being alone a lot as a child), he started to learn music making and sound engineering and started to make his first demos.

His first solo LP, Camouflage (2021) was critically well received. It took him less than two years from start to dominate one of Europe’s biggest music festival’s, Sziget Festival’s main stage, where he premiered his six track solo EP Silbak. The song Four Moods was definitely one of the biggest hits of 2022 (16 million+ plays on YouTube, almost 7 million audio streams and still counting). Even the visualizer itself became a TikTok trend: everybody made their own version of the funny scenes from
teens to middle-aged celebrities.

Packed with wise lyrics and catchy tunes, Azahriah’s songs never fail to serve the audience with surprising and entertaining inspirations from trap to reggae.
